01

Purpose and scope

Our guides help job seekers communicate genuine experience clearly. They are educational resources, not legal, immigration, financial, employment, or licensed career-counselling advice. We do not claim to know an employer's private hiring rules or guarantee an interview, offer, ranking, or ATS score.

02

How guidance is developed

We favor specific, testable advice: standard section headings, truthful evidence, readable document structure, clear dates, and appropriate tailoring to a stated role. Guidance is checked for unsupported promises, keyword stuffing, invented credentials, and claims that an ATS score predicts a hiring result. Examples are explicitly fictional patterns unless they identify a public source.

03

Reference materials

When researching general resume practices, we consult public career-development resources and source material from organizations such as CareerOneStop (https://www.careeronestop.org), U.S. Department of Labor career resources (https://www.dol.gov), and university career centers. These sources inform general guidance; they do not endorse ATSForge or replace an employer's instructions.

04

Review and updates

ATSForge reviews public guides for clarity, accuracy, and relevance when material changes are made. Each guide shows its review month. We correct material factual errors, clarify examples that could be misunderstood, and update links that no longer work. Product behavior, privacy practices, and legal information are reviewed separately when the service changes.
